In the 2022/2023 school year, students of Photography and Multimedia at Ortweinschule Graz (Austria) spent several weeks exploring the 1worldFlag and its message. This led to several projects that varied both in form and content. The exhibition took place in the »Freie Atelierhaus Schaumbad« in the »Oberdeck«.

In 2022 Ololade Lawal received the grant by Goethe Institut Nigeria X One World Flag Project to travel the country and collect visual stories of the One World Flag in Nigeria. Thanks to Dr. Nadine Siegert, Kolawole Oludamilare, Ololade Lawal & Franklin Okanu for making this project possible.

In their intervention, eleven Master's students deal with the democratic potential of design and address the facets of democracy using selected exhibition objects.
In addition, the students add objects to the collection whose democratic aspects they believe have been missing in the collection to date and which are particularly relevant for a younger generation, like the One World Flag.
